Overview
CTRL-A staff will be participating in the Global OSINT Search Party CTF, a volunteer-driven cybersecurity event hosted by Trace Labs. The event brings together members of the global cybersecurity and OSINT community to support real missing persons investigations through ethical open-source research.
Details
The Search Party capture the flag (CTF) crowdsources open-source intelligence (OSINT) to generate new investigative leads that are reviewed and provided to law enforcement agencies working active missing persons cases. Participants work within defined ethical and legal boundaries, using publicly available information and submitting findings through Trace Labs’ purpose-built Search Party platform.
This event is entirely volunteer-based and focuses on collaboration, public service, and responsible use of technical skills to address a growing societal challenge.
